Biography

Shaina is an Educational Technologist for Arts & Science with NYU. She uses her years of learning support, curriculum design, and teaching experience to inform her work when partnering with faculty. Before joining NYU, Shaina supported faculty initiatives, such as embedded tutoring and mentoring, both in the classroom and through extracurricular programs. As an educator, Shaina has particular interests in UDL, culturally responsive teaching, and promoting motivation and metacognition. With a MA in higher education administration, supplemental instruction certification, and research interests in learning sciences, Shaina keeps the development of independent learners central to her work.
