Biography

Shawn C. Petty is a Westat Principal Research Associate. He oversees the development of training products, coordinates the efforts of technical assistance coaches, & provides capacity building assistance for various clients. Shawn entered the education industry after a decade of experience with the Disney and Target Corporations. Shawn has been a Regional Coordinator for Harris County Department of Education as well as a Texas ACE Project Director. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from BYU-Hawaii, a Master of Political Management from George Washington University, and is a Doctoral Student at Sam Houston State University.
