I am a seasoned executive with over twenty-five years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, long-term budgeting, strategic planning, operational control development, and project management. I have worked in both higher education and secondary education as well as starting my career in public accounting.

Before joining EDUCAUSE, I was the AVP/Controller at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. At MMU I was responsible for all business office operations, as well as managing the financial aid and student account management teams. Prior to MMU, I helped build Xavier High School as the Controller and was the Assistant Controller at Coe College.

I am a certified public accountant and hold a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa.

I have been a volunteer with Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity for over a decade and am currently a member of the finance committee. I enjoy traveling on international service trips with CVHFH and most recently went to Trinidad & Tobago.
