Biography

Shelly Belflower currently serves as the Director of Academic Technology Services and IT Business Services for Weber State University. In her role she works closely with Faculty to ensure technologies in the classroom contribute to the teaching and learning environment, and she works with staff to ensure they have opportunities to learn new technology skills and the productivity tools needed to be successful at work.

Her staff also support the IT Policy, planning and assessment work for the IT Division as well as the communications, events and training functions. She became the Director of Technology Services as Weber State University in January 2006. She has worked for Weber State since 1998, previously working for the School of Business and Economics as the Computer Specialist and teaching for the Information Systems & Technologies and the Health Sciences departments as an Adjunct Instructor from 2000 through 2018.

Shelly enjoys working in the educational arena, especially Higher Ed. Shelly completed her Master's in Business Administration in August 2003 and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technologies in 2000 from Weber State University. She has completed the Managing Professional certification in ITIL and supports ITSM roles at Weber State University.
