Shelly Whittaker

Biography

Shelly Whittaker is the Training Coordinator in the Division of Information Technology at Creighton University. She is responsible for teaching Microsoft Office and systems classes for faculty and staff at Creighton as well as daily administration of the training program and smaller systems used on campus. She is also actively involved in system implementations that directly affect the end users, such as a migration to one email and calendaring system and an upcoming Banner upgrade. Shelly has over 12 years of experience working in the fields of education and information technology as a teacher, trainer, systems analyst, help desk supervisor, and manager. She has been involved in several system implementations and upgrades as well as developing training and new hire orientation programs. Shelly has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Education and recently completed work for her Masters Degree in Curriculum & Development with an emphasis in Instructional Technology.
