Biography

Sheri Thompson currently works as Senior Director of Learning Operations and Communications for National University. She retired at the end of 2021 as LSU's Faculty Technology Center Director where she and her team provided faculty with concierge level support to successfully utilize enterprise IT services campuswide. Sheri served for over a decade as the Planning and Communications Officer for Information Technology Services at Louisiana State University. She provided leadership and direction to the strategic planning process for IT at LSU. In addition, Sheri led marketing efforts related to IT services and resources. Sheri holds a master's degree in liberal arts and a bachelor's degree in English and speech communication from LSU. Prior to her work in IT, Sheri had a decade of administrative experience in fiscal management, diversity programs, and human resources.
