Biography
Sherri L. Parker, M.L.S. is the Director for Curricular Innovation and Product Development for ECPI University. She is responsible for the planning and development of the curriculum for the University from program ideation to execution of the courses in collaboration with the Academic Deans.
Sherri works to implement strategic plans and measures, acts upon key performance indicators, and collaborates and coordinates with key stakeholders throughout the College to promote innovation and shared services in support of strong pedagogical practices and learner-centered instruction for student success. She has a strong record developing and implementing new processes and driving efficiencies; she is an igniter and can make things happen through empowering her direct reports and others to get involved, to be engaged, and to act.
Sherri earned her bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Indiana State University and her MLS from Indiana University. She currently serves on the Cengage Advisory Board and is a faculty member for the EDUCAUSE Management Institute. In 2017, she was nominated as Harrison College's 2017 Campus Support Employee of the Year, and was also inducted into the PALNI Hall of Fame for the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana, recognized for her prior work and dedication to charter and lead the Technology Advisory Board for the consortium.
She is passionate about ensuring that technology is enhancing the student learning process in a way that enriches their academic experience so that they can be prepared for the ever-changing career environment. She is dedicated to ensure that students become comfortable using technology to facilitate learning and productivity.
