Biography

Fannie (Shu Fen) Tsai is an Instructional Designer at the University of California, Irvine's Division of Teaching Excellence (DTEI), a committee of the UC Irvine IT Accessibility Group. Fannie is also a member of the Divisity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Rubric Working Group at UC IDFS (Instructional Designer and Faculty Support Community). She contributes a unique set of skills and views to course development, faculty advice for successful teaching and learning, emerging technology workshops, and instructional design. Collaboration with departments to develop unique instructional methodologies, course layouts, and procedures, particularly active learning strategies, micro lecture video, and teaching technology tools. Regardless, Fannie is concerned with ADA compliance and ensuring that every student is treated equally and has access to all course materials/content.
