Biography
Sika Berger is Digital Services Coordinator in the Smith College Libraries in Northampton, MA. She leads a team devoted to a wide range of electronic services, with particular concern for collaboration, library instruction and technology training, discovery and access to digital resources and services, and user-focused website development. She worked with audiovisual services, online database searching, government documents, reference, and library instruction at Oberlin College and at Tufts University, and joined the Smith College Libraries staff in 1990. Sika earned an A.B. in Communication Studies from Oberlin College, did graduate work in Library Science with the International Graduate Summer School, College of Librarianship Wales, and received her M.L.S. from Kent State University.
