Biography

Professor of Information technology, a career teacher of IT and Director of Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL) at Kabarak University (KABU). As Director of ODeL, I provide leadership in digital pedagogy, policy compliance, and quality assurance for online and blended learning.

I have supported several universities referred to KABU by Commission for University Education (CUE) in Kenya to benchmark ODeL best practices. My consultancy experience spans digital content design, ODeL policy frameworks, and technology-enabled curriculum innovation.

Key recent engagements include:

consultant and content developer for the Open University of Kenya. Framework developer for online and blended learning at KMTCs under an AMREF-funded project. Designer of an AI-enabled curriculum review model to strengthen graduate employability and institutional digital transformation.

With over 21 years in ICT education and administration, I combine academic expertise with practical consultancy experience, positioning me as a trusted advisor on ODeL accreditation, digital pedagogy training, and technology integration in higher education.
