Biography

Simon Rodriquez is the Distance Learning Media Manager for South Texas College (STC) and has been with STC for 18 years.  Simon has 35 years of experience in Instructional Technology, multimedia/video production, and professional and organizational development at the K-12, community college, and university levels.  Simon is a skilled trainer and facilitator and has received numerous awards including the NISOD (National Institute for Staff and Organization Development) EXCELLENCE Award and the NCSPOD (North American Council for Staff, Program and Organizational Development) international EXEMPLAR Award for his work in the area of professional development at South Texas College. He has presented at numerous conferences including NISOD, NCSPOD, AACC (American Association of Community Colleges), NSSA (National Social Sciences Association) and STLA (South Texas Leadership Academy).  Simon is a Certified DISC Behavior Assessment Trainer and Certified Blackboard Collaborate Trainer.
