Biography

I am a seasoned instructional support specialist with extensive experience in educational technology and training. At Iowa State University, I support many key LTIs including Canvas, Gradescope, Turnitin Originality, Top Hat, Webex and Microsoft Teams, while also leading initiatives to enhance teaching effectiveness through technology. I have offered training, created documentation resources, provided troubleshooting support. I am admin on a number of tools working with the vendor directly including Turnitin/Gradescope, Top Hat, Respondus, and others. My accomplishments include receiving an ISU Cytation Award, spearheading the adoption of Gradescope, and increasing engagement with tools like Top Hat, resulting in notable growth in usage metrics. As I proven collaborator and leader, my goal is to be a partner with faculty, finding ways to use technology in ways that engage students while making their lives easier.
