Sonya Zuker

Biography

Sonya joined Saint Paul College, located in the heart of Saint Paul, Minnesota, in January 2024 as Vice President of Information Technology and Institutional Effectiveness and Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining Saint Paul College, Sonya was the Director of User Services for five-and-a-half years at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College.

She has been a technology leader in the K-12 public and charter school space and has supported charter schools, including serving as Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors at metropolitan K-12 charter school/district. Sonya has taught Grades 6 - 12 Academic and Educational Technology, developing a technology curriculum grounded in ISTE standards, as well as integrating cross-curricular standards into her courses.

As a life-long learner and advocate for student achievement and success, Sonya has devoted herself to promoting and supporting academic and learning endeavors to ensure all learners have the tools and support necessary to succeed, in whatever form that may take. She supports diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and workplace and advocates for presenting oneself authentically.

Sonya received her Ed.S. in Instructional Technology from American College of Education in March 2024 and will complete her Ed.D. in Executive Leadership from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota towards the end of 2024.
