Biography

As the Assistant Vice President of Technology in higher education, my role has centered on aligning technology initiatives with institutional goals and ensuring that IT investments deliver measurable value across the university. I assist in the development of the IT Strategic Plan in direct support of the University’s overall Strategic Plan, goals, and objectives. This includes maintaining an informed perspective on emerging technology trends in both academic and administrative computing and effectively communicating these advancements to campus stakeholders to promote innovation and informed decision-making.

I oversee the management of the annual IT capital and operating budgets, ensuring responsible stewardship of university resources and optimizing spending across infrastructure, software, and vendor services. My leadership focuses on establishing operational excellence through best practice processes, strategic resource planning, and fostering a culture of service excellence within the IT organization.

In addition to operational leadership, I play an active role in talent management—recruiting, mentoring, and developing IT professionals to ensure a high-performing, customer-focused team.
