Biography

Work Founder & Executive Producer GameZombie TV Lecturer Media Arts & Game Development Lab University of Wisconsin at Whitewater Education PhD, Educational Communications & Technology University of Wisconsin at Madison (Expected: 2013) M.S., Telecommunications, Indiana University at Bloomington B.S., Radio-TV-Film B.A., History University of Texas at Austin Highest Honors, Phi Beta Kappa Bio I grew up primarily in New England--between Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts--and spent some of my youth in Southern California and Europe. I completed high school in Chicago, and received highest honors degrees in History and Film Production from the University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, I lived in Costa Rica, Honduras, and Brazil, a journey that resulted in the novels, Fury & Redemption and Bad Blood Born. In the fall of 2006, I entered the Telecommunications Program at Indiana University at Bloomington. My thesis project was the four-time Webby Award winning original series, GameZombie TV. In the Fall of 2009, I joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, helping develop UW-W's Media Arts & Game Development Program. Simultaneously, I’m pursuing a PhD in Educational Communications & Technology at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
