Spring Brennan

Biography

Spring Brennan is the Accessibility Specialist at Georgia State University’s Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning, and Online Education (CETLOE). Her focus for the past decade has been the design and development of accessible online courses, particularly for students with Dyslexia and learning disabilities. Her expertise includes the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 compliance, and UX/UI—stemming from 14 years of professional experience as a web developer and designer.

She has also taught Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive teaching practices as faculty development since 2016. When needed, she advises instructors on Section 504 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for digital materials and online activities.

Spring holds a PhD in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia, an MA in Writing and Editing from UNC Greensboro, and a BA in English from the University of Florida.
