Stacie Wiegand

Biography

Since July 2000, Stacie Wiegand has served as the University Data Administrator at Indiana University where she is a project manager for the implementation of the Global Directory Services project. The directory will serve all eight IU campuses as a central authentication, translation, and white pages service. She previously worked as a project manager and successfully implemented a student orientation and advising application. This application was chosen as a Laureate for the 1998 Computerworld Smithsonian Awards case study. The completed case study is on display in the Permanent Research Collection concerning the history of IT Innovation at the Smithsonian Institutions National Museum of American History in Washington D.C.
