Biography
As the Chief Technology Officer at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, she leads our institution's technology strategy and ensures that it supports our academic and administrative goals. This includes developing technology policies, procedures, and standards and identifying emerging technologies that can help us achieve our objectives.
A solid commitment to diversity and inclusion in daily business practices is essential. It requires effective communication, collaboration, stakeholder management skills, and a deep understanding of the higher education landscape. A key role is collaborating with other leaders across the institution to understand their technology needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
She is also responsible for managing the technology budget and ensuring that strategic investments in technology support institutional priorities. This requires a strong understanding of financial management and balancing competing priorities.
In addition to strategic responsibilities, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including managing staff, ensuring technology infrastructure is reliable and secure, and providing technical support to the campus community.
As the Chief Technology Officer, she is critical in ensuring Trinity College has the technology solutions and supports it needs to achieve its goals. Her IT governance and security expertise, technology strategy, stakeholder management, and financial management make her well-suited to lead the institution's technology efforts.
