I specialize in project management, collaborative development methods and support processes for all aspects of technology-supported teaching and learning. I use a backward design and a community of practice framework where a key goal of design and support is to provide authentic, professional practice-based experiences.
My Ph.D. is in Curriculum and Instruction, with a minor in Educational Psychology and a focus on Educational Technology. My BS and MS are in computer science, specializing in interface design and software usability. I have worked within the educational technology field for more than 20 years in various roles including faculty, instructor, administrator, manager and instructional designer and in multiple organizations including corporations, community colleges and universities. I have taught online courses since the mid-1990's and continue to teach when time allows.
