Steve Kennedy is an IT Services Manager at University of California at Santa Cruz. He is responsible for email and calendaring systems. After a successful career in high technology, Steve joined Saint Mary's College of California as Regional Director and later as manager of Computer Systems and Processes. He joined UCSC in 2005 as a project manager focused on data center planning and high performance computing. Steve also taught courses for Saint Mary's College and served as a member of their management faculty for twenty years. He holds a BA and MA in English LIterature from San Francisco State University, an MBA from Pepperdine and is in the dissertation phase for a PhD from Northcentral University. He holds teaching credentials in four subject areas, and hold certifications by AMA, APICS and ITIL. Steve presented "Student Projects that Improve Organizational Effectiveness" at the 2004 Western Organization Management Teaching Conference (WOMTC) and he is a member of the Information Technology Service Management Forum (ITSMF).
