Steve Levey

Biography

Stephen Levey is retired and teaching as an adjunct faculty member at Houston Community College (HCC). He was formerly the Associate Vice Chancellor, Academic Instruction at HCC, where he led in the planning, development, and implementation of many academic instructional activities and initiatives for the college. Additionally, specific areas of responsibility included all academic instruction, HCC Online, the Teaching & Learning Resources area, the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence, the Chair Excellence Institute, the Library/Learning Resource Center, Academic Resource Development, and working with all Academic Deans and faculty. Stephen earned his doctoral degree (Ed.D.) from The University of Texas at Austin in the Community College Leadership Program. His master's and bachelor's degrees were earned from Saint Louis University. He has previously held administrative positions at The University of Massachusetts - Amherst, The Unversity of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and The University of Arizona.
