Steve Rafferty

Biography

Steve Rafferty is Director of Data Administration at Loyola College in Maryland. Specific current projects include identification and evaluation of a suite of reporting tools that will satisfy the College's needs without incurring unreasonable maintenance overhead, and, analysis of the College's business processes with respect to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in order to align those processes with the ERP wherever practical and to aid in selection and implementation of tools that can integrate gracefully with the ERP when it cannot satisfy particular business needs. Steve comes to Loyola College after 6 years of Information Technology consulting for the federal government. Prior to that, he worked as a librarian and programmer at several university and public libraries. He earned an MLS degree from the College of Library and Information Services at the University of Maryland in College Park and a BS in English and World Literature from Towson University.
