Biography

With 24 years in the IT industry, Kaplan previously co-founded and ran two IT professional services firms that were named the the Citrix U.S. Partner of the Year and the VMware Rising Star of the Americas respectively. He has co-authored three books on VMware (USENIX) and seven on Citrix (Osborne/McGraw-Hill) as well as written scores of published articles and white papers on topics such as security, disaster recovery and the effect of regulatory compliance on IT.

Kaplan holds a B.S. in Business from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA from Northwestern's JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
