Biography
Steve has held the position of Coordinator of Reference Services at Furman University for 11 years where he has composed digital document collections of historical holdings at Furman, including 19th century maps georeferenced to modern photometric and topographic maps. In another capacity he coordinates the digital building of collections for Furman's Huff Center for the Study of Piedmont History, and is currently involved in digitally rendering the site for the History of Human Habitation within the Saluda/Reedy River Watershed in upstate South Carolina. He also serves on the editorial board of LOLA Exchange, a site for Digital Learning Objects and activities hosted by Wesleyan University. Steve completed his M.L.S. degree at the University of South Carolina in 1982.
