Steve Greenlaw

Biography

Steve Greenlaw teaches economics at the University of Mary Washington for 23 years. He's been a long time proponent of IT as a tool for more effective teaching, though he's never generally followed the path of other early adopters. Steve serves on UMW's TLTR. His current projects include experimenting with wikis and blogs to empower student learning and most recently to teach metacognition instead of economics in his introductory classes. Steve has a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the State University of New York aka Binghamton University. Very little of his formal education prepared him to be a teacher or an IT practitioner.
