I began my IT career banging out software on an Apple II and have worked the majority of my professional career with East Carolina University. Beginning with the Human Resources department in 1997 and moving to the campus IT department , ITCS, about a year later, I've been involved in software development since. Over these years, my focus has been web application development with a focus on our our campus portal and supporting applications. Developing great software and helping teammates develop great software that is intuitive, easy, and fun to use and placing it in the hands of the campus is my passion. I've held the role of software developer, team manager, and project manager with few results being as professionally rewarding as a user of our software product saying, "Wow. That was actually fun!".
