Steven Carmody

Biography

Steven Carmody is an IT Architect at Brown University. He has chaired the Higher Ed social identities workgroup for the past year and worked actively to assist with the development of the current InCommon Social2SAML pilot gateway. He is chair of the InCommon Technical Advisory Committee and has been a key figure in the Internet2 Middleware Initiative and the development and deployment of the Shibboleth federating and single sign-on software. Steven has presented at numerous national and international presentations on topics related to identity and access management and middleware.
