Biography
Steven Wicker (MA, University of NC at Greensboro; BS, University of NC at Greensboro) is the Instructional Technology Consultant for the Departments of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Military Science at Wake Forest University. In his position, he assists faculty with the use of technology as it relates to their teaching and research. He also assists undergrad and grad students with the use of software (Latex & Maple) specific to departmental use. He maintains the websites for the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Computer Science and the Math Center. He serves as the co-administrator for the campus implementation of TurnItIn - a plagiarism detection system - providing support and documentation to faculty across campus and is currently serving on the Sakai Implementation team. Before coming to Wake Forest, he worked at a software training company and taught college level mathematics at local community colleges.
