Biography

Dr. Stuart E. Trafford is a distinguished technology executive and educator known for driving digital transformations within the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) sectors. He specializes in leveraging innovative technologies like Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, and AR/VR to advance learning programs and research initiatives. His dedication to overcoming challenges and pioneering revenue-generating strategies has empowered public sector entities and academic institutions throughout his career.

As the current Regional Sales Manager for Okta in New England, Stuart brings a wealth of experience to his role. His journey began in education, where he was a dedicated advocate for special education, low-income, and minority students. His work earned him a U.S. State Department of Education grant aimed at enhancing learning outcomes and educational experiences. This passion for education technology continued through his doctoral studies at The University of Delaware, where he earned his degree in Education, Leadership, and Technology.

Prior to his role at Okta, Stuart played pivotal roles in global K-12, higher education, and workforce development initiatives. He led partnerships and educational business development for SaaS and cloud computing firms across North America and EMEA, including his most recent position as the Head of Education and Workforce Development Partnerships at Unity Technologies (NYSE: U).

Originally from the North West of England, Stuart now resides in Boston, MA, where he continues to inspire change and drive progress in the technology and education landscape.
