Sue Beckingham
Biography
Sue is an Associate Professor, National Teaching Fellow and Principal Lecturer in Computing and Digital Technologies at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association, a Certified Busiess and Management Educator and Visiting Feloow at Edge Hill University. She is the co-founder of the international #LTHEchat (Learning and teaching in Higher Education) and the cross-institution open online course 'Bring Your Own Device for Learning’. Sue holds an MA in Communication and Media, and an MSc in Technology Enhanced Learning, Innovation and Change.
Her research interests include social media and digital identity, and the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching; and she has published and presented this work nationally and internationally as an invited keynote speaker.
