Biography

Sue is an Associate Professor, National Teaching Fellow and Principal Lecturer in Computing and Digital Technologies at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. She is also a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Senior Fellow of the Staff and Educational Development Association, a Certified Management and Business Educator, a Visiting Professor at Arden University and Visiting Fellow at Edge Hill University. She is the co-founder of the international #LTHEchat (Learning and Teaching in Higher Education) and the cross-institution open online course 'Bring Your Own Device for Learning’. Sue holds an MA in Communication and Media, and an MSc in Technology Enhanced Learning, Innovation and Change. 

Her research interests include social media and digital identity, and the use of technology to enhance active learning and teaching; and she has published and presented this work nationally and internationally as an invited keynote speaker.
