Sue Clabaugh

Biography

Sue Clabaugh is manager of the Instructional Facilities (IF) group in the Office of Information Technology at the University of Maryland. The IF group designs and maintains classrooms and AV systems, manages student computer labs, and supports users. Before joining OIT, Sue was the Director of Distance Learning in the Office of Continuing Education and Director of the Educational Technology Center in the College of Education. Sue also served as a Special Assistant to the Provost where she was responsible for starting the University's cable television operation and managing the campus video production facilities. Sue is the co-author and editor of Classroom Design Manual, which is in its third edition. She regularly presents at professional meetings on classroom design, technology integration, and media services. Sue was a member of the CCUMC Board of Directors and has served on various committees. She is currently serving on the Infocomm Professional Education and Training Committee. Sue earned her doctorate in education.
