Biography

Susan joined Durham Technical Community College serving as the Vice President, Chief Campus Operations Officer in 2022, responsible for providing leadership for the areas of Information Technology Services, Facility Services, Campus Police and Public Safety and campus operations at both the Durham and Orange campuses. She holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Business, both from The College of New Jersey. She is a graduate of the Institute of Educational Management at Harvard University and the Executive Leadership Institute sponsored by the League of Innovation. 

Prior to Durham Tech, Susan served in several leadership positions within the information technology arena. Most recently, she served as the Associate Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at The University of Scranton. Susan also served as the Executive Director for Information Technology Services at Mercer County Community College, the Chief Information Officer for both Camden County College and The Lawrenceville School and as the Director of Information Technology Services at The College of New Jersey.

Susan has served on the Educause Mid-Atlantic conference planning committee, the New Jersey-based NJEDge Board of Trustees and the Board of Trustees of the statewide network in Pennsylvania KINBER. Susan has presented at a number of regional and national conferences on technology innovation, project management, and organizational leadership.
