Susan Ivey

Biography

Susan Ivey is the Interim Associate Director for Digital Programs and Technology at NC State University Libraries. In this role, she provides vision and leadership for the Librariesʼ Data & Visualization Services, Digital Library Initiatives, Information Technology, and Research Facilitation Service departments. She is the Librariesʼ chief liaison to NC Stateʼs Office of Information Technology and is active in the university’s IT governance structure. She also serves on the Vice Chancellor of Research’s Research Operations Council, as well as the university’s AI Advisory Group and its AI Research Subgroup. She builds relationships with campus research and technology partners to develop collaborative services supporting the diverse breadth of research, scholarship, and teaching at the university.

Susan is active in national organizations advancing research computing and data in higher Education. She has recently served as co-lead of the EDUCAUSE Research Computing and Data Community Group and currently serves on the Strategy and Policy Steering Group for the Campus Research Computing Consortium.
