Biography
Susan Kahn is Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where her responsibilities include directing the campus-wide e-portfolio project. Previously, she served as national director of the Urban Universities Portfolio Project, which developed the first generation of institutional portfolios and pioneered their use for accreditation reviews. She is interested in e-portfolio assessment and pedagogy and co-edited "Electronic Portfolios: Emerging Trends in Student, Faculty, and Institutional Learning." She earned a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Wisconsin and teaches the senior capstone seminar in English at IUPUI.
