Biography

Susan is an Instructional Designer at Truman State University, a four-year residential liberal arts institution in Kirksville, MO. Prior to working in higher education, Susan was an Instructional Designer and Trainer in the corporate sector for 15 years where she developed and facilitated training on many different topics. She also taught music in the public school system in Missouri. Susan graduated from Truman State University in 1990 with a Bachelor's in Music Education. She holds Master's in Education with a specialization in Instructional Design for Online Learning (IDOL) from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, which she received in 2013. Her hobbies include boating, camping, gardening, and singing. She and her husband Ken live on a century farm in Northeast Missouri.
