Susan Wynn

Biography

Susan Wynn has spent her 25+ year career in administration, instruction, and information systems working within higher education, government, and non-profit entities. She works in information and data management, project management, and change management in the area of business and finance in higher education.

Currently serving as the director of special projects in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Business Affairs and Chief Finance Officer at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), Susan assists in development and execution of strategic initiatives.  She also teaches courses in project management at Arizona State University (ASU) in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA).  

Prior to UNLV, Susan managed the enterprise budget system and technical budget operations in the Office of Planning and Budget at ASU, where she also co-founded and was the inaugural president of ASU’s Project Management Network (ASU PM Network) employee initiative for which she has created and presented many project management workshops over the years.  She currently serves with the ASU PM Network as an Advisor.  

Susan's foundation in project management came from the Project Management Institute (PMI) where she also was a volunteer leader at the PMI Phoenix chapter for many years, having served on the Finance and Membership teams as well as the Board of Directors.

Susan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Information Management (MSIM) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with dual minors in Business and Interdisciplinary Writing & Rhetoric.
