Suzanne Weinstein

Biography

Dr. Weinstein holds a Ph.D. in psychology and directs the consulting and research efforts at the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence. She also serves a supporting role for the university-wide outcomes assessment process. She holds a courtesy appointment with the department of psychology and has recently developed an online version of a course in health psychology. Her primary focus at the Institute since 2002 has been assessment. From 2004 to 2008 she served as the project manager for the assessment of a long-term University-wide project (The Blended Learning Initiative) to adapt general education courses from face-to-face to either online or hybrid formats. In her role at the Institute, Dr. Weinstein has also consulted on numerous smaller scale assessment projects with individual faculty members. She has also given workshops that focus on assessment at the course and program level.
