Sya Azmeela Shariff is currently a Senior Lecturer at Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems from Florida State University (FSU), as well as B.Tech. and M.S. degrees in Education and Information Technology from UTM. After she completed her postdoctorate fellowship in 2014 in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University, United States, she chose to pursue her first love, which is Instructional Design. In 2017, she took one year off from UTM to become a Course Design Trainer and Learning Designer at OpenLearning Global. She has nearly twenty years experience of teaching in various areas including Information Technology, Multimedia, Instructional Design & Technology, and Education Informatics. Throughout the years, she have engaged in numerous practical experience including working with several instructional designers, professors, and college administrators to address the issues in learning sciences.
