Biography

I am a Criminal Justice Lecturer at San Diego State University (SDSU), dedicated to nurturing the next generation of criminal justice professionals. My teaching philosophy centers on engagement and real-world application, ensuring that my students are well-prepared for their careers.

I am passionate about my research, which delves into the lives of incarcerated individuals, exploring the impact of social support on their journey toward desistance. Through my work, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system and promote positive change within it.
