Biography
Tara is the senior instructional designer at University of the Pacific, and chair of the Digital Accessibility Sub-Committee at Pacific. She supports faculty in integrating technology into their classes in thoughtful, effective ways, in addition to supporting initiatives regarding accessibility, Universal Design for Learning, Open Educational Resources, online learning, and academic technology.
She has a PhD in Educational Technology, MS in Chemistry, and BS in Chemistry and Biology, and has taught extensively at the college level within these fields. She provides support for faculty across the disciplines.
