This paper outlines a practical framework for capacity building to develop institutional digital humanities support for IT staff, librarians, administrators, and faculty with administrative responsibilities.
BiographyTara Carlisle joined OU Libraries in 2014 as Digital Scholarship Specialist. She works with campus entities to identify innovative and evolving digital tools and resources that advance scholarly investigation, while building on the traditional cornerstones of research methodologies. She coordinates workshops, events, and lectures related to digital scholarship and her specialization is project planning and management. Previously, Tara was Digital Projects Coordinator at the University of North Texas for the statewide digital repository The Portal to Texas History. She holds an M.A in Art History and an M.S. in Information Studies from the University of North Texas and a B.A. in Philosophy from Texas A&M University.
