Biography
Ted Hanss is the Health Sciences Chief Information Officer at Yale University. He was previously CIO of the University of Michigan Medical School. Ted returned to the U-M campus in September 2004 after spending eight years as the director of applications development for the Internet2 consortium. Before Internet2, Ted served for several years as a senior manager in the University of Michigan's Information Technology Division. Ted has a B.S. in Biology from Boston College, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and an MA in Information Science also from the University of Michigan. His primary research focus is on the science of collaboration, particularly between institutions in developed and developing countries.
