Biography
As an Instructional Technologist, Teekukumar (Teeku) Patel aspires to help people and organizations identify and leverage information technology to be innovative, efficient, and productive. After graduating from UNC Charlotte in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, he has held positions with increasing responsibilities in Higher Ed such as designing and developing technology solutions to enhance employee productivity and efficiency; providing LMS Administrator support for the Employee Professional Development LMS; leading departmental technical projects from concept to design and development, through implementation; developing and facilitating technology training for faculty and staff at 7 CPCC campuses, and so much more. He graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 2007 with an Associates in Applied Science degree in Web Technologies, and recently graduated with distinction from Capella University in November 2015 with a Master of Business Administration degree specializing in Information Technology Management.
Some of his honors and recognitions include being published in the United States Achievement Academy 1997 National Awards Volume 133, All American Scholars Directory Volume 30, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars in 2003, and most recently was inducted in the Xi Delta Chapter of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business.
In his current role as a Technical Project Developer, he has led several key projects at Central Piedmont Community College through the concept, design, development, and implementation phases, which have resulted in reduced costs, more efficient processes, and higher value for the CPCC community.
