Terence Peak
Biography
Terence Peak has a diverse background that includes banking, retail, and marketing, in addition to education. In 2005, Terry was named training coordinator at the University of the Incarnate Word. Since his arrival at UIW, Terry has significantly increased training opportunities at the university through various training programs including; Geek Speak, an on-demand classroom training program, Tech Tips, a series of a series of quick and easy-to-use software tips to enhance computer skills, and Technology 4 Lunch, a series of hour-long training sessions covering such diverse topics as SPSS, Survey Monkey, Blackboard, and effective PowerPoint. Terry is one of eleven Blackboard certified trainers in the US. He used this experience to develop a series of Blackboard training sessions offered in face-to-face and online formats. Terry holds a BBA in Finance from Texas State University and earned a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from the University of the Incarnate Word.EDUCAUSE Presentations
