Teri Ault

Biography

Teri Ault is the Director of Facilities within the Research, Instruction and Information Technology Group at the Penn State Smeal College of Business

As director of facilities and events for the Smeal College of Business, Teri is responsible for facilities management of the 210,000-square-foot Business Building. The Business Building features 28 classrooms, 16 conference rooms, 350 faculty/staff offices, interview rooms and student team study rooms. She leads the college’s efforts in IT support and AV technology, digital signage, event management, space assignments, budget management for the RIIT Group, eLDIG (eLearning Design & Innovation Group), and CRM (customer relationship management) units within Smeal. She also manages space with the Keller and Boucke buildings on the University Park campus of Penn State.

Teri earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Penn State in 1990. She received her Certified Educational Facilities Professional certification in 2017 and her Certified Digital Signage Expert and Digital Content and Media Expert credentials in 2022.

She previously served as Smeal’s business manager for 21 years before being promoted to her current position. Prior to joining Smeal in 1999, she worked in property inventory and loans and scholarships positions within Penn State.
