Biography

Dr. Terri Gustafson is the Director of Academic Affairs and Academic Technology at Northwestern Michigan College. The department provides support for online course development, administrative support for the LMS, instructional design and technology professional development, classroom/conference room support, including Active Learning classroom renovations, and video/media services. Terri's research focuses on online and blended learning design and student success strategies for online learning. She has 25 years of experience in distance learning and instructional technology integration and innovation. She is the Past President of the Educational Technology Organization of Michigan and a former Board of Directors member of the Instructional Technology Council. In April 2024 she added the role of Director of Academic Affairs to her responsibilities.
