Biography

Theo Stojanov is a culture analyst, ethnographer, and educator. He holds a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology from the Film and Moving Image Studies program at Concordia University, where his work focused on the sociology of cultural production. His dissertation involves a critical examination of the socio-cultural factors that drive the creative industries, their production practices, policies, and people. Alongside his academic work, Theo maintains an avid interest in cutting edge media production designed for educational uses, experimental, interactive, and documentary projects.
