Tom Brinthaupt is Professor of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). He is a social/personality psychologist who specializes in the psychology of the self, self-regulation, and health psychology. He serves as an Associate Editor on the Psychology Editorial Board of MERLOT. During 2005-2006, Tom also served as faculty intern in the Instructional Technology Division at MTSU. He has taught online for many years and is particularly interested in better defining faculty roles in relation to instructional technology.
