Biography
Tom Hergert is a professor in the InforMedia Services workgroup and the Center for Information Media at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. He was previously Communication Arts Chair at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, and was a staff film and video producer at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Having been involved in all facets of professional information film and video production, Tom brings a documentarian's perspective to his current work in education and multimedia. He currently teaches Instructional Design, Digital Photography, and Video Production courses. He is the faculty support coordinator for Desire2Learn, the on-line course management system used at SCSU.
