Biography

Currently I am the Desktop Support Program (DSP) Manager at Carnegie Mellon University. I joined the team in July 2012 as the assistant manager and a year later became the manager. Our DSP team is a cost recovery department that is responsible for supporting many of the administrative departments at CMU. Previous to CMU I worked for two years for a small company out of Dayton OH that took over computer operations for K-12 school districts. I was the IT director for multiple districts across several states. Before that I spent 8 years with the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh as an IT Field Director. I managed the IT operations for 2 campuses and multiple offsite centers including staff, administration and students. I have enjoyed being in the education sector which is why I chose Carnegie Mellon when the opportunity was presented.
